THE TRIGGER POINT VILLIANS

Last week, a new patient came in with a problem that has not been helped by anything he’s tried, even other chiropractors.  He is suffering from severe pain in his right hip, and this has been a problem for him for almost 3 years.  Upon spending more time with this patient, I determined that his problem was a trigger point in his right sacroiliac joint.  Trigger points, also known as trigger sites or muscle knots, are described as super-sensitive spots in muscle that show up as small nodules in tight bands of the muscle fibers.  These trigger points often refer pain to other areas of the body in such a way that diagnosing them is quite difficult.  I found this patient’s trigger point just above his right hip bone, and once I worked it and finally relaxed it, his pain began to go away.  Refer me to your cousin Brad who is always limping in pain; at Blue Ribbon Chiropractic, We’ve Got His Back and will remove those trigger points AND the pain they are causing.
